ASUS SONY ERICSON TOSHIBA AND BIG NAMES JOINING THE ANDROID CLUB
The Open Handset Alliance, is growing quick, new big guys are joining the android party, they formally anonounced the membership of 14 additional companies:
AKM Semiconductor Inc., ARM, ASUSTek Computer Inc., Atheros Communications, Borqs, Ericsson, Garmin International Inc., Huawei Technologies, Omron Software Co. Ltd, Softbank Mobile Corporation, Sony Ericsson, Teleca AB, Toshiba Corporation and Vodafone.
The future looks shiny for android, you can expect a wave of android devices coming from this brands (just guessing, ASUS “Eee Phone” or a XPERIA X1 running Android or an Garmin Nuvifone with android engine),
