If you love (or need to use frequently) excel and are the happy owner of a G1 (or any future android device )you would probably love this, you can use register for free to syncplicity to syncronize all your excel spreadsheets for free with google mobile docs and then open and edit them using your G1, google is doing a great job for the ubiquity of the personal information.
You can even creat a direct access icon on your android phone by publishing your important google spreadsheets as a link (google documents can creates a link for every document) and then create a shortcut in your android phone desktop using the free AnyCut app (a must have available for free on google app market)
it only takes a couple of minutes and can save you a headache if you forget an inportan excel file or you need it on the go.
